If I Speak to You in Silence, Will Your Answer Be?
Complete, or will the end of your existence be the talk about the street?
In this world we have a great need to talk with each other. In order to have a fighting chance to answer the question we are being asked, we must listen twice as much as we talk, and be willing to admit we don’t know what we don’t know until we learn it. Each year I strive to learn a new language from my native tongue. That language is young people speak. Each generation seems to find a way to make our language unique to them and coupled with the barrage of the politically correct movements, it is imperative that we keep talking so we can learn where to build the bridges that allow us to live with each other even if we don’t agree more often than not. We can at least agree that we are all human beings sharing one planet and everyone can learn to treat everyone with a measure of decency.
